Thank you for your interest in BYTESized’s production of DISNEY’S NEWSIES JR. This is a JUNIOR PRODUCTION for 8-18 yr olds. All auditionees must be at least 8 yrs old at the time of their audition and 18 or younger at the time of the last performance. All auditionees 8-17 must have parental or guardian permission to audition, and it is expected that audition bookings are made by parents or guardians.  Auditions will be held February 3 & 4, 2024. 

Actors are invited to to a group audition process. We will use the iTheatrics Method for audition which means that actors will not be asked to indicate a specific role or interest in a lead role or ensemble only. The audition process for Newsies Jr. will ensure that everyone can share their skills on a level playing field. No preparation is necessary.

Auditions will take place on Saturday 3^rd February at 10:00am and Sunday 4^th February at 10:00am at Wodonga Middle Years College – enter off Hedgerow Court. Please plan to arrive before the start time listed above, as we will all audition as a group. The audition process will take 2 hours.

Please make sure you can commit to the rehearsal schedule. Cast are expected to be available for all required rehearsals unless prior arrangements have been made. Cast must be available for all production week rehearsals and shows.  Rehearsals will continue through school holidays and all cast must be available for evening rehearsals in the week prior to the show. 

Please note, if you are cast in Newsies Jr. a show fee of $120 is applicable.  Payment plans and discounts for more that one sibling cast are available.
